Good Old Times

I walked to school uphill both ways in the snow. I lived on one hill the school was on a different hill, so I had uphill walking both ways.
I had to walk a block between houses, no hills, no doggies barking at me, no Karens yelling at me to get off their lawn, it was quite boring, but it was cold with snow. It was so very rough!! I did, however, have wet hair, it was frozen by the time I made it to school.

Considering that children were not allowed indoors if the sun was out, that alone would be Considered dangerous by today's standards. What we did while locked out was even more dangerous then being out in the sun and drinking from the hose.
