Hey ,

When researchers study Alzheimer’s disease, one thing they look for is beta-amyloid.

It’s a protein that can accumulate in the brain and form the plaques closely associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

But researchers have uncovered another far more disturbing piece of the Alzheimer’s puzzle.

A bacterium linked to gum disease has been found in Alzheimer’s-affected brain tissue.

It’s called Porphyromonas gingivalis, or P. gingivalis.

And in research studies, oral infection with this bacterium increased the production and buildup of beta-amyloid in the brain.

That puts one unlikely place under the microscope: your mouth.

That matters because gum disease often develops without warning signs.

You can have chronic inflammation and harmful bacteria beneath the gumline without the kind of pain that sends you rushing to the dentist.

That’s one reason my friend Jonathan Landsman created a brand NEW program, the Dental Health Docu-Class.

Save your seat for the Dental Health Docu-Class, at no cost to you for a limited time.

Hi Jimi,

When you’re navigating cancer, there can be an overwhelming amount to think about.

Treatments. Appointments. Nutrition. Supplements. Tests. Decisions about what to do next.

And with so much attention going toward what you can add to your routine, it’s easy to overlook some of the things that are already within your reach every day.

Your stress levels.
Your sleep.
Your nervous system.
Your emotional wellbeing.
Your daily habits.

These may not get as much attention, but they’re all part of the environment in which your body is doing its work.

That’s why I’m hosting a free online masterclass:

The Missing Link to Healing

9 natural practices to support healthy inflammation levels, immune function, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing

In this masterclass, I’ll walk you through 9 simple, evidence-informed practices you can explore alongside your existing care.

You’ll learn ways to support:

  • A calmer stress response
  • More restorative sleep
  • Healthy immune function
  • Greater energy and resilience
  • A greater sense of calm and wellbeing

And importantly, these aren’t complicated protocols that require another shopping list.

They’re simple practices that don’t require expensive products or equipment.

Because sometimes the most valuable things you can do for yourself are the things you can incorporate into your everyday life.

This isn’t about replacing your medical care.

It’s about exploring additional ways to support your body and mind while working with the care and treatment you’ve chosen.

If you or someone you love is navigating cancer, I’d love for you to join me.

Lauren is the mother of two beautiful young children. She's a community herbalist, dream teacher, and author. She hosts the Herbs and Dreams Podcast and is the author of Seasonal Herbalism: A Beginner's Path to Medicine Making and Dreaming with Mother Earth.

Lauren is a vibrant and beautiful soul, full of passion for and dedication to the work of connecting people with the healing plants.

During the uncertainty of COVID, she and I felt a call to listen deeply to the Earth and started a circle that met seasonally round the fire to ask our questions and listen for answers.

Those gatherings planted the first seeds of what would eventually become Rhythms & Relationships.

Later, when my husband, John, died, she was there to hold space for my wailing, and she showed up for the fire circle on the year anniversary of his death.

She held space as I completed my vision quest on her beautiful land.

Lauren is that kind of friend.

The kind who reminds you that healing doesn't always come through having the right words. Sometimes it comes through presence, through holding space. That's exactly the quality she brings to her teaching. And it's one of the reasons I knew we needed to create this journey together.

If you'd like to experience this presence for yourself, I'd love for you to join us this Wednesday at 4:30PM PST for our free live gathering.

Bring a sprig of rosemary or a cup of rosemary tea (1 teaspoon of dried rosemary steeped in 1 cup of water for 10 minutes) and we'll guide you through a simple but profound practice of presence that will forever change the way you experience this familiar plant.

I promise you'll never look at tea drinking the same way again after this experience.

Register here.

Together we will:

  • Slow down and become fully present 🦥
  • Connect with rosemary through our senses and guided meditation 🧘‍♀️
  • Give you a taste of the kind of learning we'll share inside Rhythms & Relationships 🍵
If you're wondering whether our teaching style is a good fit for you, I hope you'll join us. I think you'll know by the end of our time together.

One participant, Leandra W., shared this about Lauren:

"I can't begin to describe how much working with Lauren has impacted my life. Lauren is so deeply knowledgeable and grounded in her approach to herbalism and dream work, and you leave her workshops feeling both empowered and humbled by the Earth and her abundance and beauty."

And one of our HerbMentor members, Lu G., wrote this about my teaching:

"Mr. Rogers used to sing a song, 'It's you I like.' That soft, gentle way of appreciating each person for who they are — that is Kimberly Gallagher's style. She wants you to be you as you learn."

Reading that touched my heart because it's exactly how Lauren and I hope people feel throughout this course. Register for our free live workshop here.
