Good Old Times

Imagine taking a little 6 cylinder Baccaruda (my pet name for them) and making it into a fierce drag racer. It even has those "anti-flip-over-backward" things which I obviously can't remember the name of, LOL!

I never saw hood pins on a trunk lid, though. Is this another AI foul-up? In which case, that car doesn't even exist. Bummer.

I love that movie. Did anyone ever watch the sitcom "Wings?" There was one very funny scene in one episode where Helen was trying to make dinner for a guest (she wasn't very handy in the kitchen). Earlier in the day, she'd stopped in at the beauty salon to have her blond tips re-bleached, so she had foil things all over her head. After a particularly nasty fight with some flour and biscuit dough, the doorbell rang and she went to answer it, covered in flour, dough bits and foil all over her head. It was one of the guys, Brian, and as soon as she opened the door, he dropped to one knee, held out his hand, and said, "Klaatu Barada Nikto!" I almost peed my pants the first time I saw that, it was so unexpectedly funny. :)

I can't find the clip online anywhere. It's sooooo funny!

This is what i miss most not having my elderly neighbours. They didn't ask, I didn't tell. They would just walk out their doors see their porches, sidewalks and driveways clear of snow, except under their vehicles if there was one.

The mowing and trimming was harder to hide, lol.

I wish you were my neighbor. :)

Are these Moon-Pies now?

I loved those. They were called Mallo something... Mallomars, I think? I could eat a whole box in one sitting.

Had one of what? Yeah, duh, I do not get it  oh hum.

I remember putting the wrapper back in the holder and trying to trick people with an empty wrapper.
It was a trick pack of gum and when someone would try to get a stick of gum it would snap your finger like a weak mouse trap

Howdy Doody started in the 1940s and aired it last episode the end of September 1960. Clarabell finally spoke goodbye kids
