Gene Simmons is an ignorant, loudmouth asshole.

In a 2002 interview on NPR: "If you want to welcome me with open arms, I'm afraid you're also going to have to welcome me with open legs"

In a 2021 interview on "Good Morning Britain", in which the show anchors asked Simmons about the mask mandates his band was enforcing on fans attending mostly outdoor concerts: "We’re not concerned if you’re breathing it or not. We’re concerned if you’re getting us sick, so get your g**d**mned COVID shot."

A couple of good things about him is, he never drank alcohol nor take any illegal drugs, including smoking the leafy green. Though, apparantly, he doesn't mind taking needles and injecting unknown substances into his veins.
