Woke this mornin feelin funny and freezin cold it was warm though but I got up and went about my day. I was sittin at the dinnin table sayin my mornin prayers when I got hot around the neck and next thing I knew I was wakin up on the floor. Jean freaked and made me go back to bed, I felt bad enough that I didn't even argue. Felt funny all day, didn't get outta bed, and was cold so I took a very long soak in hot epsom water, feelin better now

Jimi, that sounds like the onset of pneumonia, with those two symptoms that distinguish it from a regular flu: the bone crushing cold, then the loss of oxygen (which put you on the floor). Thank goodness Jean was there to put you back to bed.

Well at least you know what to do, warm liquids, broth, tea, lots of bed rest, and when you feel up to it, that hot epsom bath.

If you went to the hospital in the era before they started killing everybody with ventilators and Remdezivir, they would have given you oxygen from a tank, through a tube and mask, and probably antibiotics, but the hospitals don't even pretend to try to save lives anymore.

I sent you two Oxygen Aid Extra Tall 99.5% Oxygen Canisters, including tube and mask. If you use it, let me know if you believe it's effective, if it makes you feel better. You want to be sure to keep it away from heat and flame.

There are other brands if this brand is too dinky. There are also oxygen concentrator machines you can buy that take ambient air and concentrate the oxygen out of it so you can breathe pure oxygen.

I don't really think it was pneumonia, had it before, I do breathin exercises 6 days a week, Sun. my day of rest, and my oxygen level is usually between 97 and 99%, they test it everytime I have blood done and havin no breathin trouble at all. I don't know where the passin out came from and feelin better today. I have always had weird things happen to me since the age of 3.

You seem like maybe you're feeling better today, but hang onto those oxygen cannisters just in case. Pneumonia doesn't come around because you have low blood oxygen. It robs you of oxygen. Why else do you think you woke up on the floor?

I think I would jump out of a moving vehicle to avoid going to the hospital, unless bone was sticking out of flesh.

Never did go for political t-shirts. The most controversial I ever wore (still have them somewhere) were a beautiful long sleeve Decadent Dub Team with "Peace to the Leaf" over a big leaf (you know which kind of leaf I'm sure), and the Bop Harvey "Monster Butt Beat Dance Test" t-shirt. I had a Black Sheep t-shirt, just the band name on a wide stripe. I was walking in somewhere and a man said "you look alright to me". I didn't know what he was talking about so he had to point to my t-shirt.
