You can’t always feel inflammation.

But when inflammation and stress remain elevated for too long, research suggests they can affect systems throughout the body…

Including immune, cardiovascular, metabolic, and mental health.

And that raises an important question:

What if supporting your health isn’t just about what you put into your body… but also about the internal environment your body has to heal in?

That’s what I’lll explore in my next live masterclass:

The Foundation of Healing
How to Reduce Inflammation, Enhance Immune Function, and Support Your Body Naturally

Monday, September 28th at 7pm Eastern

You’ll discover the overlooked connection between stress, inflammation, immune function and your body’s ability to recover—plus simple, natural practices you can start putting into place.

Understanding why certain environmental toxins drive disease (specifically what they do to gut permeability, immune activation, and the inflammatory cascade once they enter the body) changes the conversation from avoidance to resolution.

It answers the question that avoidance alone never gets to.

What do you do about what has already accumulated.

Dr. Tom O'Bryan dedicated an entire episode of Betrayal: The Autoimmune Disease Solution They're Not Telling You to this specific territory.

Hi Jimi,

The Dental Health Docu-Class begins tomorrow.

In my last email, I mentioned I’d share the dental habit that may be doing more harm than good.

Here it is: Trying to “sterilize” your mouth.

You’ve been taught that a clean mouth means killing every germ.

But in Episode 3 of the Dental Health Docu-Class, you’ll discover why that would be a big mistake and how that decision can actually increase your risk of disease.

Simply put, do not use another mouthwash until you hear Episode 3.

Some of the many things covered in this program include:
  • Overlooked truths about germs and your risk of gum disease - a revealing explanation about how to avoid tooth decay
  • The myths associated with dangerous bacteria in your mouth and, more importantly, how to avoid harm
  • The best ways to deal with a tooth extraction, missing teeth, a root canal, crown, implant, bridge, denture, or jawbone infections
After watching this program, you’ll know how to pick the right dentist and the exact questions to ask before any dental procedure begins.

Get ready: Tomorrow morning, around 8 AM Eastern time, I’ll be sending you the link to start watching Episode 1.

Hi Jimi,

If you've lived through something painful or traumatic—and some part of you may still feel its effects today—I especially want you to know about this.

→ Join 60+ of the world's leading trauma experts for the Heal Your Trauma Summit, completely FREE.

Because one of the most important things we now understand about trauma is this:

Its effects don't necessarily end when the traumatic experience ends.

They can continue to influence your nervous system, emotions, relationships, behaviors and even how safe you feel in your own body.

And this is where the subject becomes relevant to far more people than those who immediately think, Yes, I've experienced trauma.

Trauma doesn't always come from one catastrophic event.

It can also grow out of experiences and patterns that happened repeatedly over time.

And sometimes its lingering effects can look surprisingly ordinary:

→ feeling anxious or on edge when there's no obvious reason

→ constantly people-pleasing or struggling to say no

→ finding yourself repeatedly drawn into unhealthy relationship patterns

→ being unusually sensitive to rejection, criticism or conflict

→ feeling emotionally overwhelmed—or emotionally numb

→ carrying shame or self-blame that you can't seem to shake

→ struggling to trust other people... or yourself

→ feeling exhausted, stressed or stuck despite doing so many of the "right" things

This is one reason I'm recommending the Heal Your Trauma Summit, a major FREE online event bringing together 60+ experts in trauma, the brain, nervous system, relationships and healing.

→ Reserve your FREE place in the Heal Your Trauma Summit here—and immediately unlock 6 complete expert interviews.

Researchers studying breast cancer did something that sounds completely counterintuitive...

After just 2 weeks...

They STOPPED treatment entirely.

Then... they kept watching.

Why?

Because they weren't just testing if a tumor would shrink...

They wanted to see if the cancer had the power to return.

These researchers did this by testing natural plant extracts directly against cancer's most dangerous drivers:

Cancer stem cells.

And what they discovered was remarkable.

The natural compounds didn't just suppress active cancer cells...

...they helped prevent new tumors from forming long after treatment stopped.

Which proves that when you neutralize cancer stem cells at the source... you change the entire trajectory.

Tomorrow...

Dr. Michael Karlfeldt and Sylvie Beljanski are going LIVE to reveal everything you need to know about these natural plant extracts...

And what these findings mean if you are ready to take a proactive, evidence-based approach to cancer prevention.

🩺 HEALTH HACK: You can help your blood sugar without leaving your chair. Keep your feet flat, lift your heels while the balls of your feet stay put, then let them drop and repeat. University of Houston researchers found this “soleus pushup” improved blood sugar control by 52% after a sugary drink, because this small calf muscle can keep burning fuel for hours without tiring out.

✨ MAGICAL PLACE: About two hours from Tokyo, Miharashi Hill at Hitachi Seaside Park is covered in roughly 33k round, fluffy kochia bushes. They stay bright green in the summer, then turn a deep, fiery red across the whole hillside in October. This year the park expects peak color right around October 15. SEE THE HILL change color.

🤔 DID YOU KNOW?: Late in life, Thomas Edison set out to find a rubber plant that could grow in the U.S., and his team tested over 17k plants to find one. What they arrived at was goldenrod, the yellow wildflower. Edison bred them to grow 12 feet tall, and the USDA resumed his work after his death.

🌱 REGENERATIVE FUTURE: Until this year, there was no global agreement to protect the open ocean. Last week, the High Seas Treaty reached 100 countries on board, and the first meeting in January can begin setting up marine protected areas. That could help lead to safe zones for whales, sea turtles and the fish that cross these waters every year.

🕺 PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: There's a reason Mondays feel like a good time to start something. Researchers found gym visits and searches for “diet” jump at the start of every week, month and year, and again after holidays. They call it the “fresh start effect”, where a new date gives you an opportunity to release the old version of yourself. October starts Thursday, so what are you hoping to add to your clean slate?

🧭 NATURE SKILLS: Wild rose hips are ripening now, and they can be an easy find for new foragers. Pick the firm red ones, and wait until after the first frost, since the cold makes them sweeter. The inside is full of seeds and tiny hairs that irritate your throat, so steep them whole for tea and strain, or split them and scoop out the middle before cooking.

You can’t really go wrong with broth-based soups when you’re sick, but there are some that work faster and more effectively than others because of the healing nature of their ingredients.

The healing soup recipe below is a real crowd-pleaser that is super tasty and extremely good for you...

Cornucopia Soup

The Italian herbs in this recipe are famous for their ability to open up your respiratory system while soothing the lining of your throat and any chest congestion. The turmeric and black pepper duo work together to bring down inflammation all over your body and both the garlic and ginger help to fight off the presence of any bacterial or viral infections!

Meanwhile, the whole veggies provide a wide range of vitamins and minerals to nourish your body back to health quickly. (While that’s not a guarantee, it has been our experience. We make a big pot full and eat it during any mealtime.)

This delicious soup packs a serious healing punch!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Ginger (measured to your liking)
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 zucchini chopped
  • 12 oyster mushrooms quartered
  • 3 medium potatoes chopped
  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Water
  • Sea Salt (to taste)
Preparation

  1. Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger in olive oil until fragrant.
  2. Add mushrooms, carrots, and zucchini. Cook until zucchini is soft enough to pierce with a fork.
  3. Add all herbs and the potatoes. Fill the pot with water, until vegetables are fully covered. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for about 45 minutes.
  4. Add kale. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Salt to taste.
Grab a bowl and spoon and eat up all the healing benefits this wonderful soup has to offer!

Aged Garlic Heals Your Heart, Lowers Blood Pressure

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Anyone who enjoys cooking knows that garlic is an essential part of countless recipes.

But, in truth, it’s much more than a delicious ingredient for flavoring your favorite dishes.

In fact, garlic has been used as an herbal remedy for some 5,000 years.

And today, research has found that aging garlic in water or ethanol at room temperature for 20 months can produce compounds with powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

Special: Dr. Crandall Saved His Own Heart With This

This aged garlic extract (AGE) can be used to treat cardiovascular disease, as well as liver problems, memory impairments, and gum disease, among other ailments.

According to Matthew Budoff, a professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, AGE offers anti-inflammatory properties that are similar to some of the most widely used cholesterol-lowering medications.

“One of the benefits we believe statin [drugs] impart for reducing cardiovascular death and cardiovascular risk is a potent anti-inflammatory [benefit],” Budoff said.

“Now we’re seeing that AGE has a similar effect on inflammation,” he explained.

AGE has also been shown to reduce blood pressure and atherosclerosis, which is the buildup of plaque inside arteries.

A study published in the Journal of Nutrition three years ago found that AGE can lower blood pressure by up to 16 millimeters of mercury — roughly the same effect as can be achieved with standard antihypertensive drugs. According to a report published in the Japan Times, additional research led by Karin Ried at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine in Australia concluded that AGE “significantly reduced” the mean blood pressure of study participants.
