Week 3 19th of January 2026 - (Did Quit Smoking)

I'm sorry Leon. People will find a forum because they did a generic search for information about vaping. Can it help me stop smoking? Is it bad for my health? Etc.

You have something over VU and ECF, in that you're in the UK, so you have a special place.

You need more forum content. I'll start a new thread.

Today I am on day 12 of my Quit.

I look forward to my biweekly account, which means I will have completed 2 weeks by Thursday midnight, going into Friday Morning.

Day 11 and I fancied a cigarette last night, but it was only a thought.

I will continue to vape until I may fail and start again.

So touch wood that I do not.

Completed my birthday without smoking.

Yet did have a few between 12:00 and 01:00 AM, as this would be the End of the 5th of October, going into the 6th of October. If no daylight time existed.

I had 2 on Thursday and 2 on Saturday, so only 4 in the space of 72 hours.

It is only a minor setback, but I am still winning, as I have had only about 3-4 packets in the last 6 months.

I lasted but just over an hour after my last post.

Stupid me, and I would have done a month about now.

Although I did only smoke a packet, compared to when I wasn't vaping, I would have done a packet each day.

I did later Quit yet again at a reasonable time period of 12 AM on the 28th of November 2025.

Only today to get over and then 3 weeks will be done and dusted.

Over the past 9 months, I think I have only had a possible 20 packets in total.

I have done more weeks this year than in any other year.

Usually, it would only be for a few days or two weeks, before I returned to smoking full-time.

I just have to get over the hump.
