You can understand why you react a certain way and still find yourself doing it again.
Saying yes when you’re exhausted. Feeling guilty for needing help. Working so hard to be accepted that you lose touch with what you need.
Sometimes there’s an old belief underneath that pattern: I have to be useful to be loved. My needs are too much.
So when that familiar reaction comes up, get curious. What’s going on inside? What am I afraid will happen if I respond differently?
You don’t have to force an answer. Begin by listening with compassion to the part of you that learned to get through life this way.
Then practice one small response that honors who you are today. Ask for support. Give yourself time before saying yes. Let your needs matter, too.
This is part of the inward work we explore in The AWAKEN Process™.

Which Room Is Secretly Poisoning You? (It's Not the One You'd Guess)

Before you read today’s message, I want you to think about the place where you probably feel safest: Your own home. Most of us know to watch out for obvious problems — mold, pesticides, harsh chemicals, contaminated water. But what about the things we don’t think to question? That’s what makes the discovery in today’s message so unsettling. Jeff Hays and the MAHA™ Movie Research Team went looking for potential sources of toxins inside an ordinary American home. Read Jeff’s message below to find out what they found...

PSA: To all Watchers of The MAHA™ Movie Last week, my MAHA™ Movie Research Team walked into an ordinary American home… Their Objective: To find where silent toxins hide! They expected the usual suspects… Your garage, filled with pesticides and humidity… Or maybe your bathroom, with potential mold buildup from years of slow leaky faucets? They were wrong. One room in that house held more “Slow Killing Toxins” than both of those rooms — combined. It’s a room you would never suspect… And I’d almost guarantee it’s the same in your house right now. Click here to find out which room it is. You need to see the research to believe it. Click here before you walk back into that room tonight. Regards, Jeff Hays Producer, The MAHA™ Movie

The Holiday Death Aisle is back in full force.

Stove Top stuffing with BHA and BHT. Ocean Spray cranberry sauce loaded with high fructose corn syrup. Pillsbury pie crust made with hydrogenated lard and chemical preservatives.

And these are the foods we're supposed to be serving our families during the holidays?!

It drives me crazy how the food industry has taken over the holidays.

And it's not just the food.

Everywhere you look, there are candles loaded with synthetic fragrances, skincare products with questionable chemicals, and all kinds of toxic products being marketed as the perfect gifts.

I don't want to give the people I love products that could harm their health.

I want to give them something that could actually CHANGE THEIR LIFE and help them stay healthy!

Cosmos in our garden right now! I love these flowers - they grow wild along the sides of the road on the way to the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa (our old stomping ground). We were married there and, of course, we had Cosmos in all the flower arrangements!

Here is today’s blog post - PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome): GABA helped ease lifelong anxiety, wean off anxiety medication, ovulate each month and stop PCOS meds

If you are looking for a budget-friendly and in-depth program on the safe and effective use of GABA for anxiety, overwhelm and fears (and much more), check out the GABA QuickStart Homestudy program below. And stay tuned emails about our BIG pre-Thankgiving Sale coming up Nov 11 - our BIGGEST sale of the year!

You can watch Oxalates Unveiled, a no-cost 7-day access to a webinar recording about oxalates (and my oxalate story).

"I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) when I was 27. (I’m currently 43 now). When diagnosed they immediately put me on birth control and metformin.

I also eventually went on anti-anxiety medication. I’ve been anxious my whole life, even as a kid, but my anxiety increased through my late 20s and peaked in my late 30s when panic attacks started taking over, even with anti-anxiety medication(Lexapro). It was debilitating.

I first heard about GABA/amino acids and how they can help with anxiety from a podcast you did with Wellness Mama about 3 years ago. I started to wean off my anxiety medication and I started taking GABA and noticed a huge difference [in my anxiety].

I eventually got off birth control and all medication for my PCOS and started regulating my cycle with diet, lifestyle changes and supplements, all while still taking GABA. Now I ovulate every month! Which I could never do on my own before."

I love that GABA helped her so much with her anxiety and allowed her to get off her anxiety meds. And that GABA helped her resolve her PCOS, together with making diet, lifestyle changes and using other supplements too.

I commend her for taking control and making changes and then for seeking answers when her panic attacks returned. And then she helps her daughter to use GABA too.
