Hi Jimi, it’s Sarah.

If your knees, hips, or hands have started to feel stiff and achy, you’ve probably heard that described as “wear and tear”.

And it sounds reasonable. You’ve used your joints every day for your whole life. Of course they’d wear down over time, right?

But the scientists who study joints say that picture leaves out something big.

Your cartilage isn’t just rubbing away like treads on a tire. It’s living tissue. And inside an achy joint, the cells start making enzymes that break that cartilage down, piece by piece.

Think of these enzymes like a demolition crew. And inflammation is what sends that demolition crew into overdrive.

In other words, your joints aren’t wearing out.

They’re being taken apart.

That sounds scary, I know. But here’s why it’s actually good news:

If your joints were simply wearing out, there’d be nothing to do but wait.

But enzymes respond to what’s going on inside your body, including the nutrients you give it.

And researchers are studying several that may help calm these enzymes down.

So which nutrients can stop the “demolition crew” inside your achy joints?

Dr. Yoni is a chiropractor who has spent 17 years in clinical practice helping people with stubborn joint and body pain.

In this webinar, he’ll share:

 • The natural compounds that help calm the enzymes that break down cartilage…
 • An unusual fruit shown in research to ease achy joints…
 • The joint-building substances your body makes less of each year, and how to replace them…
 • A simple way to absorb more from the joint nutrients you take…
 • And a whole lot more!

It’s happening live on Wednesday, October 14th at 1:00 pm ET (10:00 am PT).

Warning Signs Day Before Cardiac Arrest

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Half of people who experienced a sudden cardiac arrest had a telling symptom 24 hours before, and these symptoms are different in men than women, suggests a recent study by the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Health System.

For women, the most prominent symptom of an impending sudden cardiac arrest is shortness of breath; for men, it is chest pain and pressure.

Special: Dr. Crandall Saved His Own Heart With This

Typically caused by heart rhythm abnormalities, cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops pumping. When this happens, blood stops flowing to the brain and other organs.

Every year, as many as 450,000 Americans die from cardiac arrest, according to the U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

The researchers reviewed data from two community-based studies of people who experienced sudden cardiac arrest, comparing their symptoms to those in people who sought emergency care but didn’t experience cardiac arrest. They found that 50% of people who had a sudden cardiac arrest experienced at least one telltale symptom the day before, namely chest pain in men and shortness of breath in women.

What’s more, smaller groups of men and women experienced palpitations, seizure-like activity, and flu-like symptoms before they suffered cardiac arrest.

A Spice Worth More Than Gold. The Science Finally Explains Why

A medieval English town renamed itself after a flower. Kings paid ransoms in pepper. Plague-era Europe fought a fourteen-week war over a single shipment of saffron. Our ancestors paid fortunes for spices for a reason — and 1,280 studies in the GreenMedInfo archive now show they were right.

Hi Jimi,

I've known Thomas Hübl for years, and what strikes me most about his work is that he asks the questions that actually matter.

One of those questions is, can a trained healing practitioner still miss subtle cues from their clients? The answer is yes. And understanding why changes everything about how we work.

Thomas is hosting a free live training on Sunday, October 18, called Working With the Energetic & Spiritual Principles of Trauma Healing and it's specifically designed for anyone working with people in this capacity.

What makes this so valuable is that Thomas doesn't separate the practical from the spiritual. He explores how to refine your perception, strengthen your inner awareness, and recognize the deeply hidden patterns, both in your clients and in yourself, that stand in the way of real healing.

Over the training, you'll discover:

 • Why you sometimes sense or know more about your clients than you can consciously explain and how to trust that knowing
 • How to recognize when individual, ancestral, and collective layers of trauma are present in the room
 • How clearer awareness of your own body, emotions, mind, and energy helps you distinguish your material from your client's
 • The spiritual dimension of the healer's calling as a genuine source of wisdom and guidance
The quality of your presence directly determines the quality of healing that becomes possible. When you can perceive more clearly and understand your own patterns deeply enough to not project them onto others, your work transforms.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to work with Thomas, his work is unparalleled.

You've probably been seeing content about the nervous system on podcasts and social media.

It's a hot topic right now, and rightfully so.

Some of that information is useful. Unfortunately, a lot of it is half-true, incomplete, or downright inaccurate.

The flood of mixed messages makes things harder when your nervous system is already dysregulated.

It's the exact opposite of what you need.

Here are four of the most common myths, and what's actually going on underneath each one.

❌ Myth #1: Regulation means calming down

This is the big one. Calming techniques have their place. They're useful in acute moments, and for landing your nervous system after movement, expression, or other practices.

But as a whole approach to a chronically activated nervous system, forcing calm suppresses the charge instead of moving it. Over time, the underlying charge and reactivity build.

Regulation doesn't mean calming down. It's about building capacity: the range your nervous system can hold, and its ability to move between states. Sometimes that means bringing down activation. Sometimes it means gently waking a nervous system stuck in shutdown.

❌ Myth #2: Breathwork, meditation, cold plunges, and biohacking work for everyone

Maybe you've tried meditation and come out more restless. Maybe a cold plunge left you wired for hours, a breathwork class left you shaky and spacey, or a stack of biohacks left you more depleted.

The tools aren't wrong. They just weren't matched to the state your nervous system was in.

A technique that helps with activation can deepen shutdown. A practice that brings up more than your nervous system can hold doesn't regulate it; it overwhelms it.

The question isn't just "which tool?" It's "which state, and what does it need?"

❌ Myth #3: A nervous system is a nervous system - everyone's system works the same way

Nervous systems are closer to fingerprints than a textbook diagram.

The same state can look and feel completely different from one person to the next, which is why generic advice fits some people and misses others entirely.

The useful skill is learning to read the signals from your unique system.

❌ Myth #4: My symptoms are either physical or "all in my head"

It's a false choice. The nervous system is where body and mind meet. Fatigue, brain fog, unpredictable digestion, flares after a hard week... these can be physical AND tied to the state your nervous system is in, at the same time.

If you've spent years working on your gut and this one still nags at you, that's worth paying attention to.

If any of this is speaking to you, this Wednesday, my friend and colleague, Michael Roesslein, will go deeper in a free live workshop: the why behind each myth, how to recognize which state you're in, and what building capacity actually looks like for your unique system.
