Day 1 My Minds Failure (Or Did I Quit Smoking)

So far I have only had the two cigarettes, so still going strung, but will have to reset my quit yet again at some point in time.

I thought I nailed it since having 0 nic for about 3 days, and only just recently bought some more disposables;

I have changed my banner and restarted to quit on the 30th of May at 00:00:00 AM.

I am now into day two and will soon be into day three once twelve midnight arrives.

Was doing well, kept getting to a week, then failed.

Now I am into day nine off my quit.

My new QUIT DATE is as follows 21st July 2026 @ 1AM.

As it is bearing the Fall, clocks go back and my banner is at 0-GMT so I know it is 12AM totally.

I had lasted all but 11 days and 13 hours until I smoked the dreaded stinkies.

I have since started to vape once again on the 3rd of August 2026 @ 12 AM.

I just know I can do this, but something keeps me from going and smoking each time I am doing soooo good without smoking.

I just need to find the cause of it and dispel it from my mindset.

I done it yet again yesterday but only had 8, so now I just need to reset everything and start from scratch.

My new Quit Date is now, 17th August 2026 @ Midnigh, early morning.

I have seen a few people say they quit cigarettes by taking up vaping, without any temptation to go back to the stinkies, but not many. Most of us had at least a short season of doing both, smoking and vaping. For me it was six weeks.

You may have to resign yourself to some frustration but it won't last long. Yes, craving cigarettes while vaping, but once the last of all the nasty cigarette additives have cycled out of your system, it will get easier. Then easier still.

Don't flog yourself over past failures. If you failed, you tried. Never give up.
