Early Symptoms of Kidney Disease

Early Symptoms of Kidney Disease
Kidney disease often creeps in without obvious warning, but your body may already be sending signals worth paying attention to. Find out which early signs are easy to miss and why catching them soon could make all the difference.

THIS IS INSANE: A suspected plague outbreak has erupted in Russia, and the government is being accused of covering it up.
Read that again.
The alarm was raised in Siberia after a worker at an anti-plague laboratory died of a disease that killed tens of millions during the Black Death.
Her name was Daria Shipilova. She was 28.
According to reports, she told medical staff she had accidentally broken a test tube containing live bacteria while collecting samples.
She was hospitalized Tuesday with severe pneumonia, placed on a ventilator, and died Thursday.
Since then, nearly 200 people have been forced into isolation.
A hospital has been quarantined.
All public events in the region have been canceled.
And the head of Russia's public-health watchdog rushed 2,600 miles from Moscow to the Irkutsk region to coordinate the response.
But here's the part that has people alarmed.
The regional governor won't even name the illness. He's calling it "a dangerous infectious disease."
Reports claim antibiotics have run out in the region, sending frightened residents to pharmacies looking for help.
And one of Russia's senior epidemiologists called the broken test tube story "laughable," saying someone working at an anti-plague institute would be wearing a protective suit.
"We will not be told what really happened."
A Russian political insider channel went even further, saying the situation in Shelekhov "resembles the Wuhan case."
So far, officials say none of the contacts has shown symptoms and their tests have come back negative.
But the questions are only getting louder

Hi Jimi,

In 2022, Zach Labie was diagnosed with Stage III colorectal cancer at just 33 years old.

He and his wife Savannah went searching for answers—and while getting treatment at an integrative cancer clinic someone told them about SQUARE ONE.

They started watching right away, and the program inspired them to take massive action. Zach adopted the anticancer diet that I cover in Modules 3 and 4, and Savannah transformed their home into a non-toxic healing environment (that's in Module 5) and so much more.

Zach said, "Going through SQUARE ONE showed me, and taught me, and gave me the belief to empower myself and take action."

Mission accomplished! That's exactly what the SQUARE ONE Program is designed to do...

To show you that healing is possible, and give you the evidence-based holistic strategies that so many "exceptional survivors" have used to help themselves heal.

Watch Zach and Savannah's 5-minute testimonial here:

https://go.chrisbeatcancer.com/zachstory/

After you watch their story, please share the SQUARE ONE Free Screening.

Post it on Facebook. Email it to a friend. Text it to someone you care about. And invite them to watch with you.

Because someone in your circle of influence probably needs hope and encouragement RIGHT NOW.

Here's the link:

Thank you so much!

Before you click that link, I need to tell you…

This is NOT like any docuseries you may have watched in the past.

There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of docuseries out there today…

I’ve even promoted the best of the best to you through these emails.

But I could never quite shake the sense that most of them were missing something, especially when it comes to plant-based nutrition.

Let me ask you…

How many times have you watched a docuseries (or listened to a podcast, read an article) about plant-based nutrition, but...

The information was the “same old” you’ve heard a hundred times before…

The strategies and tips were impractical and impossible to fit into your busy life…

Or you felt let down and wondered, “Well, there’s a few hours of my life I can’t get back…”

The Plant-Based Beginner's Bootcamp isn’t like that.

That’s why I created something different. No fluff. Just straightforward strategies to integrate plant-based goodness into your life and meals.

Easy. Tasty. Effective.

Go here to join the 2026 Plant-Based Beginner's Bootcamp now.

I can’t wait to see you there!

Cancer touches almost everyone. It's hard to find someone who hasn't been affected — either personally, or through someone they love.

That's why I want to (re)introduce you to my good friend Chris Wark. You might remember Chris from our series Transcendence.

Almost 23 years ago, Chris was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer — two days before Christmas. He was just 26.

After surgery, his doctors told him he'd need 9–12 months of chemotherapy, and that his odds of living five years were barely better than a coin toss.

Chris chose a different path.

He radically changed his diet, his lifestyle, and his mindset, and threw himself into researching how other people had survived cancer against the odds.

More than 20 years later, he's healthy and cancer-free.

And he never stopped researching. He's since interviewed hundreds of integrative doctors, researchers, and exceptional survivors, and organized everything he learned into a 10-part program called SQUARE ONE.

Over 2 million people have watched it since 2017.

Here's the part I love: SQUARE ONE is normally a paid program, but once a year Chris puts the entire course online for free. This year's screening runs for 10 days, starting October 13.

Whether you're facing cancer right now, supporting someone who is, or simply focused on prevention, it's full of practical, evidence-based information on diet and lifestyle — hope and clarity, not fear.

Watch Chris's story and reserve your free spot here >>

In good health,

If you’ve been here a while, you know that in March, I closed the Rebel Health chapter… and started building Anima.

I could have launched fast. That's the pace I'd been running at for a decade.

Instead, I chose to build it slowly, on purpose. I wanted to recover and to do the work myself, before asking anyone else to. I wanted to put my money where my mouth is.

Seven months later, here's what's happened:

We’ve held seven Anima Experience sessions, and more than 1,300 of you signed up… and I discovered that the sessions that drew the most people were the ones on the nervous system.

That didn't surprise me.

For almost a decade, I've been living through a run of crises happening all at once: health issues, moving across the world, loss and grief, financial strain. What got me through, day after day, wasn't a new insight or a better protocol. It was being able to read my own nervous system and find my way back.

I've watched the same thing from both sides of this work…

On the physical side, through years at Rebel Health and building MCSC with Kiran, the state of the nervous system kept turning out to be what held people back, or pulled them back, even when the protocol was right.

On the transformational side (therapy, breathwork, meditation, retreats, the long work of changing a pattern), it's the same. When a system is dysregulated, almost nothing else can land.

Whatever you're working on, this is the ground all of it stands on.

That's why Anima starts here… now.
It's what these seven months have been building toward, and what I've been working toward and dreaming of for eight years.

It’s finally here and ready for you.
And it begins with a free live workshop.

Join us for my brand-new workshop, The Language of Your Nervous System.

🗓 Tuesday, October 13 — 7pm ET / 4pm PT
📍 Live on Zoom. Register HERE.

A few months ago, I posted a story on social media about an 82-year-old man whose Alzheimer’s symptoms essentially disappeared.

It went viral: more than 21,000 comments and over 17,000 likes from people sharing it with their friends and family.

Here’s why so many people were talking about this story:

In just six months, this 82-year-old man’s cognitive scores went from less than 20 out of 30 to 29 out of 30.

That’s the difference between spending your days lost in confusion and memory loss, and getting your independence back.

His doctors were stunned, and not just by the transformation. By what caused it.

He didn’t take a single dementia drug. He didn’t undergo one treatment on his brain.

Believe it or not, his transformation had to do with… poop.

I know. It sounds strange. What could poop possibly have to do with how well your brain functions?

You’ll find out in Episode 1 of our brand-new docuseries, The Gut-Aging Solution.

Maybe your memory isn’t quite what it used to be lately. Keys you can’t find. A name that takes a second too long to come back.

Maybe well-meaning friends, family, or even your doctor have told you it’s just part of “getting older”.

I don’t think so.

And the studies, research, and success stories you’ll see on the next page prove there’s a lot more we can do to protect and improve our brain function than most of us have been told.

⇒ Click here to watch the trailer for The Gut-Aging Solution and reserve your free seat — hurry, it airs soon!

🌎 BE THE CHANGE: A few leaves left behind can shelter next spring's butterflies. Caterpillars, moths, and queen bumble bees use leaf litter to get through winter, so rake whole leaves into a garden bed instead of bagging or shredding all of them. You can keep the paths clear and still leave a little habitat.

✨ MAGICAL PLACE: In Nevada's Great Basin National Park, twisted bristlecone pines have been growing for thousands of years. Their slow growth produces dense wood that resists decay, which has helped them survive where other trees can not. Check out these ancient trees. Growing slowly can have its advantages.

🧠 OPTIMIZED MIND: Trying to remember something? Sketch it. In University of Waterloo experiments, people remembered more ideas they'd drawn than written, even when their drawings weren't very good. Try little pictures beside a few items on your next grocery or to-do list. Stick figures and lopsided shapes are totally acceptable.

🧘 PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: What if you paired a habit you're avoiding with something else that you actually look forward to? Researchers call it “temptation bundling”, like saving a favorite audiobook to only listen to while you exercise. In one study, gym-only audiobook access initially increased attendance. What pairing could help you get something done this week?

🍽️ RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Before you toss the seeds from a fresh pumpkin, turn them into something crunchy. Rinse, dry thoroughly, and toss with a little avocado oil and salt, then roast at 275°F for about 30–35 minutes. Sprinkle them over soup or enjoy them on their own.

🌿 NATURE CONNECTION: There's a whole migration happening while we're asleep. Artificial light can draw birds toward buildings and glass, but turning off unnecessary outdoor lights helps make their journey safer. During fall migration, keep decorative lighting off from dusk to dawn and close the curtains in any room that are lit at night.

❝ “In case you forgot: We live on a planet where whales sing songs that travel for miles.Where trees can recognize their own offspring and protect them underground. Where dolphins give each other names and where lightning can create glass in the sand.Where horses can read human emotions. Where rain has a smell before it even arrives and where the ocean can glow in the dark.A planet where the stars we see might not even exist anymore. Where a jellyfish exists that can revert back to an earlier stage of its life instead of dying.Where forests are connected underground sharing nutrients and information through vast living networks.Where there are parts of the ocean so deep and untouched that the creatures there create their own light. This isn't even exaggerated. This isn't even fantasy. It's the reality you wake up in every day. – Unknown

🎬 What Are We Carrying?

You might remember Super Size Me, where a filmmaker ate nothing but McDonald’s for a month to document what happened to his health.

 • What can testing tell us about what we’re carrying?
 • How might those exposures affect our health?
 • What can we do to reduce our exposure moving forward?

Citizen journalist Nick Pineault took that same curiosity in a different direction: What might already be inside his body from everyday environmental exposures?

His investigation became Body Burden: The Toxins We Carry, a one-hour documentary available to watch October 19–26 at no cost.

With so much conversation around pesticides, heavy metals, and microplastics, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Nick wanted to explore some practical questions:

The film follows his personal testing experience and conversations with physicians practicing environmental medicine, exploring how they approach these questions with their patients.

I appreciate seeing this topic explored through a personal story, with attention to what we can actually do in our own lives.

Sleep As Medicine

Hi Jimi,

This Thursday, we are hosting a LIVE webinar on how to get the best sleep of your life and turn each night’s rest into medicine for your body, your mind, your soul, your life.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the coolest live talks we’ve ever done. Sleep separates the healthy from the sick, the energized from the fatigued… it is the most vital natural medicine we have access to, and we all need to master it. I highly recommend tuning in.

Click here to sign up free

Every night, I tuck in my 9 year old son and watch him fall asleep before my eyes. He says “Goodnight dad.,” and within minutes he’s out like a light. And get this… he doesn’t wake up for 10 hours!

I have to admit, I’m jealous of this kid’s slumber :)

Sleep is the most important thing that you can do at night. Without a full 8-hour descent into restorative and revelatory shuteye, all kinds of things can get out of whack with our mental and physical health.

Not enough sleep means your body can’t fully repair itself each day, your stress hormones can’t properly detox from your system, your joints and muscles can’t recover, and your brain isn’t able to cool down from the heat of the day before... leading to inflammation everywhere.

Poor sleep is a hidden root cause of many illnesses we humans face.

On the other hand, GOOD SLEEP IS MEDICINE. But we must attend to it, nourish it, encourage it… using specific practices and sacred sleep secrets.

Want to learn how to get the best night of sleep you’ve ever had?

This Thursday, I am joining holistic sleep expert Dr. Afrouz Demeri for a live webinar that we’re calling Sleep As Medicine. In it, you will learn how to master your sleep using some simple practices and tools that she will show you. We’ll be covering the most potent sleep secrets - from nightly rituals to time-tested remedies to “sleep stack” supplements to mindfulness exercises and more. We’ll also be debunking some common sleep myths that may be holding you back.

As mentioned above, I highly recommend that EVERYONE joins us for this call. 30% of your life is spent sleeping and it’s essential that we get the most out of each night.

Click here to sign up free

I hope to see you there.

Health educator and filmmaker Jason Prall has some tips to help speed up gut healing, Jimi.

You’ll learn:

 • Powerful food combinations that create effects single ingredients can't achieve on their own
 • Storage hacks that extend shelf life, saving you time and money while preserving potency
 • Timing strategies that make or break your results; when you take something matters just as much as what you take
 • Preparation methods to maximize bioavailability
 • A practical symptom-solution quick reference

Gut healing shouldn’t take years. Try these for faster results.

My friend Chris Wark has spent more than 20 years studying the connection between food and cancer, and his message is simple: What's on the end of your fork matters.
He's put together a free recipe e-book, 10 Nourishing Anticancer Recipes for Prevention and Healing, built around the food that helped him through his own healing journey and the recipes he still eats today. Inside you'll find a giant daily salad loaded with cruciferous vegetables and sprouts, a supercharged oatmeal, a berry smoothie, and a few of his family's favorite dinners.
Get the free recipe e-book
These recipes feature plant-based foods that have been studied for their role in supporting a healthy immune system and reducing cancer risk. Whether you or someone you love is navigating a cancer diagnosis, or you simply want to eat in a way that helps prevent it, these recipes are worth having in your kitchen.
